RANGE OF SERVICES

The range of services comprises the entire development cycle of a project, from planning and identification through project implementation to evaluation. Starting from feasibility studies, we use modern participative planning methods in order to generate a consistent tailor-made project design. Modern web-based tools and internet technologies are applied to support project planning, co-ordination and documentation.

Project implementation is accompanied by close monitoring problems that arise identified early on with the partner concerned and are solved in a transparent management process between the client and the project partners.

OUR TEAM

At the headquarters of ADT Project Consulting GmbH in Bonn there is a core of outstandingly qualified staff, who have learned to work both in a team and to assume individual responsibility in many business fields. The two managing directors, Dr. Ferdinand Schmitt and Ekkehard Schröder are supported by fulltime employess with a variety of fields of know-how, experience in a different countries and a wide range of language skills. As a highly motivated team, our aim is to solve the problems assigned to us successfully and thus to do justice to the responsibility given us by  our clients and project partners.

Dr. Ferdinand Schmitt

Managing Director

  • Agricultural engineer majoring Livestock Production, Economics and Extension
  • Since 1995 Managing Director of ADT Project Consulting GmbH
  • Technical know-how (animal production systems in a wide range of farming systems from smallholder mixed farming to pastoral, commercial grazing and intensive livestock systems, processing and marketing of livestock products, quality of milk and meat, dairy value chains, service organizations, food safety legislation, food inspection, consumer protection)
  • Experienced with the contractual and organizational aspects of donor funded technical assistance projects
  • Project Director and backstopper for technical assistance projects on food safety, veterinary, animal health, animal husbandry and traceability in more than 60 countries worldwide.
  • More than 50 trainings and seminars for public and private donors in the field of agriculture, food safety and veterinary and invited speaker on national and international level on this subject
  • Familiar with the development of information systems alongside the dairy value chain with regard to animal breeding and husbandry, animal health, quality management and traceability.

Ekkehard Schröder
