On 17th March 2025, The German delegate Ms Rebecka Ridder (BMEL – Referat 624), International Projects, Twinning”, German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), Mr. Martin Kuntze-Fechner, Project Manager, GFA General Agent, Bilateral Cooperation Programme of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and Ms Lena Futch (ADT Project Consulting) visited Indo-German AMD project location in Rajasthan on 17 March 2025. During visit, German delegate had a “Interactive Session with FPO”. Mr. Pratyush Ranjan Singh, the Dy team leader of AMD project, extended a warm welcome to all the German delegates. Mr. Gautam Singh, Spice Park, Kota, Mr Chandrapal from Asian Spices along with FPO members from different clusters were present in the meeting. The purpose of the visit was to interact with the farmers of the Sarnagati Farmers Producer Company and discuss the FPOs business plans, future planning, challenges for next cropping season with the AMD project team. The CEOs of the Sarnagati Farmer Producer Company from Ramganjmandi provided insights of their FPC activities and highlighted the ground-level challenges related to the agricultural exports, market linkages, agricultural infrastructure, and strategies for identifying buyers and sellers. During visit, framers highlighted different types of coriander samples, coriander powder samples and explained the qualities of the samples. The German delegates at last visited the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) at Ramganjmandi, Kota district to learn about APMC functions, facilities, and schemes and the marketing support provided to the farmers. The delegation also interacted with the women self-help group that are currently working to improve the value chain of coriander.
