The ninth annual field day organized by the German Agricultural Training and Information Centre (DAZ) and the members of the “Association for Sustainable Development of Modern Agricultural Technologies in Kazakhstan” (AMTK) in Kazakhstan took place on July 25th 2019 in Chaglinka, Akmola Oblast in the North of Kazakhstan. More than 500 participants from different regions of Kazakhstan attended the field day. Good weather conditions accompanied the very successful event.

The public-private partnership (PPP) project DAZ is part of the bilateral cooperation programme of the German Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL). The Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Science, ADT Project Consulting GmbH and DEULA Germany are implementing the project.

Beside annual field days and other activities, the DAZ implemented during the last 8 years 327 seminars on modern farm technologies in crop production, fodder production, handling of farm machinery and cattle production with about 7.000 participants.

This year’s field day was attended by high level delegation such as the First Vice Minister Saparov Aydarbek Seypellovich of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kazakhstan, several high representatives of Akmola Oblast Administration, the Ambassador of Germany in Kazakhstan Dr. Tilo Klinner and Dr. Doris Heberle, Head of Division 624 “International Projects, Twinning” of BMEL.
