With Praise and Prize, the Farewell of this year’s interns from Ukraine

On the 20th of October 2019, 27 Ukrainian college students who had started their internship on family farms in southern Germany in May this year celebrated their farewell. More than 70 invited guests came to the “Festhalle Denkendorf” to take part in the ceremony of Ukrainian young interns organized by AKI. AKI Deputy Chairman S. Schwab and N. Kohnle from the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) handed out certificates.

All 27 interns, including 10 young ladies, have successfully completed the internship. The best of them were honored for their achievements. Anhelina Tokmyna from western Ukraine shared some of the exciting moments of her experience on a family business in Stockach on Lake Constance with the attendants.
